The North Portland neighborhoods of Piedmont, Arbor Lodge and Kenton border each other and have a lot in common. They sit within 7 miles of downtown Portland, and they’re some of the city’s older, more established neighborhoods. They’re home to historic sites, including Peninsula Park Rose Garden, a sunken formal garden that was completed in 1913 and is spectacular with more than 5,000 roses.
In these neighborhoods, you’ll find bungalows and craftsman style homes, as well as newer builds.
The three areas are flat and walkable, with great access to public transportation (the Max light rail) and bike lanes.
At the time of this post:
Piedmont has a median home value of $439,900, and there are 30 homes for sale.
Arbor Lodge has a median home value of $446,000, and there are 31 homes for sale
Kenton has a median home value of $383,000, and there are 29 homes for sale.
If you’d like to know more about these areas in North Portland, please reach out to Ari Shelton – he’s a homeowner in Piedmont and has plenty of insight.
